The first Smart Industry Science and Innovation Park in the country has been inaugurated in Kaposvár, Hungary, as a joint project of the University of Óbuda and the Municipality of Kaposvár, as announced by Rector Prof. Dr. Levente Kovács at the Kaposvár BM Heros Zrt. Arena. At the event, Finance Minister Mihály Varga; Kálmán Rudolf, President of the Foundation for the University of Óbuda; Innovation and Technology Minister Prof. Dr. László Palkovics; and Mayor of Kaposvár, Károly Szita, emphasized the importance of developing industry in the region, which is realized through the new investment of the University of Óbuda, promoting innovation in the city. Prof. Dr. Levente Kovács signed letters of intent to cooperate with 13 local companies for the completion and operation of the innovation park, including PSI Europa Security and Service Ltd. as well as CyberIntelMatrix Ltd.
The research and development activities of PSI Europa Ltd. focus on the development of innovative energy solutions, green energy storage systems and optimized health and diagnostic tools for the military industry.
The focus of the research and development activities of CyberIntelMatrix Ltd. is cybersecurity solutions which are able to provide additional data for cyber attack research, and thus provide active protection by supplementing the existing passive cyber defense ecosystem.
